Perhaps it’s vanity that caused me to look elsewhere. The idea of losing my hair was not at all appealing. As a working mother of three, the idea of having to take care of my family and my business while receiving toxic treatments seemed completely unmanageable. And my mother and father, both cancer survivors and people who underwent traditional cancer therapies (chemo & radiation) urged me to try something different. My mother never completely recovered from her chemo and radiation treatments and urged me not to have them if there was any way I could avoid it.

However, a paradigm-shifting discovery is that we all have damaged and mutated cells floating around our bodies. A healthy immune system, however, knows how to clean up and discard these damaged cells.
